Avezlees.
[pronounced have-a-lees]
"Aves" actually came from the scientific word of bird, so that is how their name was obtained.
Brief Lore/ Evolution/ Government.

Avezlees' time lives in the world where all humans have finally gone extinct, because of another great flood and most of the bird species have only survived. Then later an unknown alien life has landed on earth, terminating all of the birds. However its "slime" subs species have touched one of them, copying their "elements" passing down to generations as well as giving the element of powers to ancestors of Elizabeth the Swan, Peyton the Peacock and Brandy the Crow.
Three of them hold a powerful element which are water, fire and electricity, respectively. Brandy the Crow and Peyton the Peacock's ancestors have started the conflict between which are more powerful and better between landers and flyers. Until now the two of them are leaders and still holds the conflict and Elizabeth the Swan "the middler" leader tries to put an end on this regardless of their old childhood friendships.
More will be explained on literature coming up.
Setting.
The entire place on earth they live in, is called, "Birds of Paradise", where every then- city/buildings have partly been engulfed by nature and jungles.
What are Avezlees?
Avezlees are alien-bird species which have their body covering most entirely covered of feathers (no hair at all). As well as their eyelashes around their cyclops eye are feathers. They blink like humans.
An Avezlee is mostly based from any bird in real life and can be a mixture as well, from colors/shape of their feathers to the legs and feet. Raging from common to legendary (please check Traits Sheet)
The cyclops eye colors are oftenly based on the colors of the based birds' beaks. Their sceleras can be black or white and some can even be blind.
Their legs and feet are like that of a bird. As well, the mouths are actually located on the palms of their hands, however, they do not have tongue or teeth on them, but they have a special kind of acid which helps breakdown their foods fast but also having a saliva which acts as a neutral base. Their food is anything eatable and organic.
Lastly, their blood/body fluid is a darker shade than their base color and is very acidic as well.
3 Types of Avezlees.
(These depends on the real life birds being based on)

Landers
are the ones that can't fly or can only fly for a very short while. An example is nadzarki's Avezlee, Peyton the Peacock.

Flyers
are the ones who can generally fly or the ones who spend most of the time in air. An example is Dav-Ink's Brandy the Crow.

Middlers
they are the ones who can equally fly but also equally spend most of their time on land. An example is AK-47x's Elizabeth the Swan.
Powers/Abilties
They are more intelligent than human beings as well they hold the powers of elements of water, earth, fire and air.
Communication and Writing.
Avezlees have a different way of speaking to each other and their voice compromises of hums and clicks, which for example looks like this

If they were to hear humans talk, it would be like someone to them talking incredibly fast that they instantly make out what they are saying from the amount of syllables and words in just one sentence.

Culture.
Their culture often bases from modern human culture with a mix of their "birds" touches. Their clothes are like that of what a human wears, however their touch of style, exposes parts of their feathers. Think of clothes which compliments or goes well with feathers sticking out of their body and not something to cover themselves entirely. Often they are cool clothes, because their feathers already act as protection to them and their clothes are lesser.
They all have their own personalities like humans but more intellectual than them. If they like to be friends or not, etc. It all depends. (There is actually an official bio template that should be filled up which will explain someone's Avezlee with thought)
Gender, Relationships and Sexuality
2 genders, Male and Female. As well for the sexuality, it has been a tradition that most are heterosexual for mates, but since some parts are exposed to human culture these days, some of the population also have other sexualities.
Their relationships can be with any kind of specie except humans, as long as the relationship is explained thoroughly.
Same goes to romantic relationships.
Reproduction.
They lay eggs size of real life human newborn babies. A female lays an average of 3 eggs in her lifetime.

Aging
Avezlees slowly age or grow, and they can live up to 300 years.
Childhood= 1-49 years old
Adolescence/ Teenager= 50-99 years old
Adulthood= 100- 199 years
Elderly= 200-300 years
Jobs/Occupation/Their purpose/Own stories.
Since Avezlees slowly age, they are very multi-talented and reasonably more intellectual than humans. They can have a lot of interests, hobbies but can only hold one major thing, they are expert at. Everyone of them has at least the ability to fight or protect themselves.
As they grow up they learn a lot of things since they were a child. Some Avezlees serve themselves to their corresponding leader but some are betrayals as well. If they work for the leader they should follow their orders. Often mostly, Landers and Flyers don't get along too well (because of the war and conflict that has been going on over the years), both of them have more enemies. While Middlers are the ones who are neutral and they are mostly friends with everyone.
Every Avezlee should strictly have a purpose or at least a job to serve or help their people once they reached adulthood.
It is either blue and while collared jobs. An Avezlee each has their own backstory to tell. (will be written in summary in the official bio template that will be followed.)
